Every stage live on giant screens at Cartmel Racecourse, with continental street food, French wine and beer, family cycling activities and secure bike parking. Admission is free but by advance ticket only.

The Tour de France comes to Cumbria for the first time in history — and Cartmel Racecourse becomes South Cumbria's festival home of the race. Three days of live coverage on giant screens, continental food and drink, live entertainment and a village dressed in yellow.

A once-in-a-generation weekend in the heart of Cumbria
Village du Tour stretches from the illuminated Cartmel Priory and the village square out to the racecourse, with bunting, floral displays, yellow bicycles and cycling installations throughout. Cafés, pubs, restaurants and independent shops join in with special food and drink experiences.
Saturday night live
A separately ticketed evening entertainment event keeps the celebration going long after the riders have finished Cumbria's stages.
Stay the weekend
Camping, glamping and motorhome pitches alongside the village's hotels, inns, B&Bs and self-catering — plus free parking for ticket holders.
15 minutes to the route
Dedicated shuttle transport takes you to the roadside for the race, then back to Cartmel's renowned food and drink scene and festival atmosphere.

Also in planning: a children's bike school, pump track, curated cycling route guides, bike repair facilities, shuttle services from Cark railway station and a land-train ride linking Village du Tour with nearby Holker Hall & Gardens.
Tickets for the Saturday evening live entertainment event, together with camping, glamping and motorhome bookings, will be released in due course.
